You can live for years next door to a big pine tree, honored to have so venerable a neighbor, even when it sheds needles all over your flowers or wakes you, dropping big cones onto your deck at still of night. ~Denise Levertov
Who leaves the pine-tree, leaves his friend, Unnerves his strength, invites his end. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson, "Woodnotes"

IPM involves a knowledge of the characteristics of individual plant types and the plant pests which affect them. When pests are found, determinations must be made as to whether pest populations are indeed damaging and whether they warrant control. Unnecessary treatment may kill beneficial insects and allow an explosion in plant pest populations. Good IPM requires regularly scheduled visits, monitoring, examination, and treatment as necessary. When treatment is necessary, the Arbor Doctor employs methodology which is as friendly as possible to the environment. Systemic materials are used when possible to avoid problems with drift and overspray. The Arbor Doctor wants to take care of any plant pest problems while keeping you, your family, your pets, and the environment as healthy as possible. My two decades of educational and practical experience allow me to provide the best IMP program available in the industry today. ![]() With our air knife, we can identify and correct root zone problems which can lead to long term plant stress, insects, disease, and ultimate plant death. |
