Tan and brown azaleas are a sure sign of lacebugs
During a recent visit to the Creation Museum botanical garden I noted heavy infestations of lace bugs on azaleas.
What should have been nice, deep green foliage was, instead, tan, brown, and unattractive. We do treat for this but this year some of the lacebugs seem to have gone pretty crazy.
There are many types of lacebugs which affect a wide range of plants. The good news is that they are generally more of an aesthetic issue that a killer. To read more about lacebugs, click here
