Rating: EF1 Estimated Peak Wind: 105 mph Path Length /statute/: 3.15 miles Path Width /maximum/: 90 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 03/19/2025 Start Time: 10:54 PM EDT Start Location: 1 NE Burlington / Boone County / KY Start Lat/Lon: 39.0412 / -84.7037 End Date: 03/19/2025 End Time: 10:56 PM EDT End Location: 3 WSW Villa Hills / Boone County / KY End Lat/Lon: 39.0588 / -84.6499 Survey Summary: A tornado touched down west of KY-237 at an industrial site. Partial roof removal was observed at this site. The tornado tracked northeast and uprooted multiple trees. The tornado then tracked across Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport where extensive wall and roof damage was observed to an industrial building. A 747 was moved 5 feet from the winds. Also, about a dozen cars experienced damage from flying debris in a nearby parking garage. Additional tree damage and damage to HVAC systems was observed on the northeast side of the airport prior to lifting.
